Adams Elementary

Hello Staff, Parents, Grandparents, and Community Members,

It is a pleasure to serve the community of John Adams Elementary for the 2025-2026 school year. My name is Eddie Van Bun and has been in education with SUSD for 25 years. I was a classroom teacher for 16 years and administrator for 9 years. I'm incredibly excited to continued to be a part of this vibrant school community, and I look forward to working alongside all of you – our dedicated teachers and staff, our supportive parents, and most importantly, our talented students. My goal is to foster an environment where every student feels safe, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential, both academically and personally.

I believe in open communication and collaboration, and I am eager to get to know each of you and hear your ideas for making Adams Elementary an even better place. Please feel free to stop by my office, introduce yourselves, and share your thoughts.
